Changes from one film to another.

My original idea was called the untold fairytale. Due to the lose of two actors at last minuet and not being bale to find the cast to fill their shoes. So i decided to look back at my drawing board at my previous ideas.

I had originally come up with the idea of making a sequel to the film i was making i had the research complete from the first programme all i need was to write a new script re-organise the sound track the costumes and a few of the props. I decided to use the same location and film dates i had already chosen. 

And the new film was born.

Story line: 
The events of Ebony's life has been well over for a few 100 years, The magic mirror has been destroyed and the evil magic has once again been transferred to the book, If you read this book without an open mind it will consume your soul and use your body as a host. It has done this for the past 100 years. But as the years have gone the book has become more and more evil. All those bad guys we hate…Hitler and so on…Thanks to the book. 

The only way to stop the book is for Ebony's descendant to read the book, and let her mind over power the book. The power become to much for the book and it is eventually destroyed.
But can she do it in time before her friends are killed?

The changes i have made from one script to this is the characters. I decided this was the best choice because the timing from now until filming is not long enough to prep a new actor. My cast and film crew where all aware of the possibility of changing they where all confident in the new roles they where given. I had also cut down the timing from the first film of roughly 30mins to roughly 15-16 mins i did this for two reason's filming time would go down equalling in budget decreasing. And for the chance to incorporate the film into some film festivals in the future. 

I also decided to no longer use the amount of after effects i had originally designed for the first film this cuts down on the edit time meaning i can create interesting tension and effects spending longer on the shots themselves and the sound track. The changes to my first sound track idea's won't be too different because the film still aimed to be in the fantasy region meaning the sound type won't change to much, The only thing that will significantly change is the timing and the intro song which i have discussed with the people helping me create the original track. 

The costume changes are quite dramatic from each character having multiple costumes because the first film was set over a few days the second film is based over 2 days with no costume changes because of the sleeping style. Resulting in each character needing only 1 costume. This cuts down on time wasted in costume change and make-up changes. The only time it does increase is hair preparation as we need it too seem as if it is over two days.

I think this will still work as well as my original idea because i have the passion of the first film moved onto this. I have completely prepped and i am ready to film on the dates.
